Marybeth Legler has been an early childhood teacher for 20 years.  Marybeth received her Waldorf Early Childhood teaching certification from the Rudolf Steiner College and worked as a mixed age Kindergarten teacher for most of her career.   A lifelong learner and believer that the first seven years of life are the most important, Marybeth has attended countless workshops and classes on play-based learning, sensory integration, developmental movement, child observation, and storytelling.  In July of 2019, Marybeth will graduate the Nurturing the Roots training program and be a certified therapeutic early childhood educator. Marybeth is a certified nutritionist and brings her passion for cooking and healthy eating into the classroom every day.   In addition to 20 years as a classroom teacher, she directs forest and garden-based summer camps, leads nature-based playgroups and teaches children to cook and love nourishing foods.

When not working with little ones, Marybeth loves to work in her flower bed, have adventures with family and friends, and take long hikes or trail runs.
